When I was little, I was convinced that if I could cram enough stuffed animals and pillows around me at night Whatever Was Under My Bed would not be able to spot me and would become bored and wander off to someone else's bed.
Must have worked. I'm here today.

Awww, that's cute! It could've been me as a kid as well. I must admit that I am still afraid of the dark *ahem* but I do not keep a lot of cute, cuddly things in my bed anymore :)
