I was thinking of that Arcade Fire song, "I know a place where no cars go/I know a place where no ships go," which kind of got me thinking about adventures in incredible places. Sort of like the Bermuda Triangle or Atlantis, preferably without disappearing or sinking into the ocean. Gulp.

have you read "Hippolyte's Island"? Uses a bit of the idea of closing your eyes twirling a globe and putting your finger on it. always thought that would be a fun way to assign geography reports....
