"The Shawshank Redemption"

For an upcoming article in Gilbert magazine, an illustration of "The Shawshank Redemption."

And how come no one in that movie has a Maine accent? I'm still puzzling over that one...

Abigail, if you ever saw a movie in which everyone has a Maine accent, you'd have the answer to your question (and I hope you are not from Maine, lol).

I am Sean Dailey, editor-in-chief of Gilbert Magazine, btw, and I'd like to thank you for your wonderful drawing. So thanks! :-)

Thanks Diane!

And glad you liked the illo Sean. While I've lived in Maine, due to the technicality that I was born across the Piscataqua River, I'm forever barred from being considered a "Mainer" by purists ;-)
