She's one of those characters I'd love to turn into a story at some point.
*They're re-airing "My Family & Other Animals"! I saw a paperback of this in a dollar book bin today and am thinking I ought to go back...
*Ben Hatke's newly updated portfolio is full of delightful illustrations.
Alrighty then, there's a mug of tea and a spy novel calling my name.

i really can't get enough of your illustrations...each one is so sweet!
She is very sweet and would make a great book character :)
Her ears make me think of "Where the Wild Things Are". I agree that she would make a good book character. :)
Lovin' her poncho!
;D love her, love the boots specially! great character.
xo.
Wow, I just clicked through here to say she looks like she'd be friends with Max from Where the Wild Things Are, but it looks like gregaria beat me to it.
I think she'd also mesh well with Ramona, especially in her earliest pest days.
So what would happen in this charming girl's story?
You know, there just aren't enough stories about Peggys. We really do have some tales to tell. :)
Your illustrations are wonderful. I was happy to stumble onto your blog (via Etsy).

I really love your stuff. I wish I could write a book just so that you could illustrate it. Do more!
