Personally, I've always had a tough time id'ing the species in those boxes of animal crackers. I know the box doesn't indicate water buffaloes or mastodons inside, but they do bear a striking resemblance...

I've always felt that animal crackers looked like regular animals turned into puffy balloons or pumped full of ...something. (Ha! maybe it's just preservatives! :)
