Illustration Friday - Plain. Although the Amish style is very plain, there's a real beauty in that simplicity.
(Speaking of plain, I sketched this with watercolor pencils, with a bit of wash to intensify things. I usually spend some time tweaking things digitally, but decided to put this up as is.)

This is lovely--soulful, even. I'm impressed with the many levels on which this is "plain"-- subject, color, and even technique.
