Fa La La La La

There's a tree needing decorating and cookies to be baked still. But cards? I mailed them out BEFORE December 25th this year, which has me pretty darn proud. The angel above is on the cards that I sent off yesterday.

So here's wishing you and yours a Merry Christmas / Happy (belated) Hanukkah / and plenty of Peace and Joy.

Swirls and Curls

Randomly:

*I have two prints in the Incredible Print Show 2 at Artstream Gallery in Rochester, NH. If you're within driving distance, Artstream is a real treat with all sorts of delightful artwork and fine crafts. Go. Run. Now. And if it's too far a trip? There's an online shop too on the site!

*I finally got around to setting up a Facebook fan page for my Etsy shop. I figure I'll post updates about new shop goods and assorted promotions over there.

*I'm working on some free gift tags for the holidays. In the meantime, if you're far more organized than me and are actually (gasp) wrapping gifts already, then you can snag the tags I designed last year here.

I am Not a Number

I didn't mean to disappear for a week; apologies. I'm going to blame it on an overabundance of work and germs. Any leftover free time is going to the books pictured above. I especially like "The Annotated Wizard of Oz," a really fascinating read. Below is "Making Mischief," a look at Maurice Sendak's career, also pretty intriguing.

And sketching while watching television; I wanted to like "The Prisoner," but just couldn't get into it. But I did like those a-frame houses. Darn, when can I move into one of those?
