Sherlock

I'm a big fan of the new "Sherlock" series running right now. I was initially skeptical; in my mind, Jeremy Brett is Sherlock Holmes and anything else just seems sacrilegious.

But guess what? It's good. Darn good. So good, that it deserved a doodle today.

I am too!! I love it.

Did you know they are filming more episodes for next year?

I thought it was very cruel to only have it be a 3 episode series. So I am glad there will be more. Those two are a fantastic match I have to say.

And you sketch is just like him, love it. :o)

This made me let out an exclamation!

I've been lurking around your blog for a while, come here from Smallpax. I hadn't come here in a while and in the meantime became obsessed with Sherlock, and then I say, I haven't been to Abigail Halpin's blog in a while- and there this is! And he's absolutely adorable!

Excuse my gushingness, but this makes me very happy. ^_^

Nice drawing :) And yes, the new "Sherlock" series definitely has its merits.

Since you mention having enjoyed Jeremy Brett's portrayal of Sherlock Holmes in the Granada series, I though you might find this website interesting: http://www.bafta4jb.com

Love the series, and love the tweedy scarf. Great texture. He looks quite curious... but that's "elementary", I suppose. :-)

This new guy is a rather peculiar looking chap, and you've captured his essence beautifully!

I wish they would re-air the first episode. I missed that one. I'm a fan of Watson.

I recently discovered Sherlock as well. You've captured Sherlock's peculiarity quite well here. :D
