For this week's Illustration Friday, "Confined." Sometimes it's more a state of mind than a physical lack of space that leaves you feeling hemmed in.

Time to jump on the New Year's Resolution band wagon!

1) I'm finally going to take on that Bargue drawing course. I have the sketchbook set aside. And the time. Let's do this.

2) Write more letters. Which means I should probably buy some stamps.

3) Go back to school - I'm signing up for some art classes in '10 thanks to the assistance of this grant.

4) Read more. If you're on Goodreads, say hi.

Should Old Acquaintance...

Happy 2010! I'm back to ring in the New Year after wracking up some serious frequent flyer miles and setting excessive sugar consumption records. 2009 wasn't half bad and I've got a few things up my sleeves to share in the upcoming months (stay tuned). So, consider this a virtually raised glass of champagne to celebrate a shiny new decade.

Now if you don't mind, there's a "Twilight Zone" marathon calling my name and some toffee on the counter.
