Back to School

I think it's that time of the year, judging by this morning's school bus sighting. I don't care how old you get, it feels like the world starts anew in September.

Also, The Enormous Tiny Art show is neat and Lost and Found is a triple dose of awesomeness.

She's beautiful and I love the bright oranges! I wonder what she's looking at....back toward home maybe, or perhaps waiting for a pal to catch up. She sure looks happy!

Absolutey charming illustration. The kids in my stret looked like they were going to a funeral the day they started back.

oh my - those colors! your illustration brings me right back. i used to adore that feeling of new and hunkering down for the winter. well, i still do :) but the foliage colors are so lacking here that one never gets quite that same tingling feeling: autumn!

I found your blog internet hoping one day and have been following you ever since. I haven't commented yet, but I LOVE your artwork and this one especially spoke to me. I just sent my third grader back to school, so I just related to this drawing. Thanks for your beautiful work. I also absolutely loved the violin player you did for your friend who was having a baby. I wish I had a friend like you! :) Keep up the good work.
