Goodbye, Lump

My cat passed away last week. It was expected, but that never makes it any easier, you know? He was a runty stray with a larger-than-life personality. Equal parts charmer, comedian and deadly feline assassin (of which I have the scars to prove), I'm going to miss that little guy like crazy.

Also, if you're particularly eagle-eyed, you've probably seen him on this blog before. Like here, and there and probably a half a dozen other places I can't think of at the moment.

So goodbye, Lump. Hope you're somewhere knee deep in catnip and sardines, shredding a screen door.

Oh Dear! I'm so sorry to hear about your cat. But it's wonderful that you've been able to show how special he was by drawing him so often.

Aww, Abbie, I'm so sorry! It's never easy, even if it is expected. Those little fluff balls really pull on our heart strings, don't they? Sending you hugs.

Very lovely illustrations though :-)

It's always hard losing a pet. My heart goes out to you. Take care and know you were loved as much as you loved him.
Have you heard of the poem The Rainbow Bridge?

Oh Abbie,
Was this Tristan? I'm so sorry. I still think about the stories you guys told about him and his scandalous poses... makes me smile.
