Marking the Days

I just finished sewing up tea towels last night, Christmas gifts for family. I'm ridiculously happy with the way the colors printed and the fabric has a nice heft. Dishes everywhere, you have been warned.

I'm going to do another print run of these after the holidays and will have a batch up in the shop in the new year.

Hello. I have been following your blog for a couple of years now. My daughter and I love your art. I was wondering if I might ask you some questions. What is a good printer for fine art prints? What software do you like to use for digital drawing? Thank you.

Hi Julia, thanks for the kind words. :-)

As far as printers, I don't have a lot of experience with different brands, so wouldn't feel comfortable giving a recommendation. I've used an HP one a couple years ago that I liked, but there's so many new ones on the market that your best bet would be to check out Consumer Reports and reviews on Amazon, Staples, etc.

With the illustrations, I'm drawing everything with traditional media (pencil, pen and watercolor), then bringing it into Adobe Photoshop.
