The Snowdrop

I finished this in January, then placed her under a stack of books to press, promptly forgetting about her existence. That is, until today, when rifling through a pile of books she popped out. And seeing that the river is racing and the mercury in the thermometer is creeping doggedly upwards, I'd say today's as appropriate a day as any to unearth a missing springtime maiden.

Just read about your blog in Artful Blogging. Love your work!!! It inspires me as. I have just embarked on nurturing my artistic side in a new way, drawing faces.

I live in Amherst, Nh and have a little place in Rye, so I'm imagining you in Portsmouth with a view of the Piscataqua.

Thank you for the inspiration!

Thanks, Martha. I'm up the river a bit from Portsmouth, but was born there and love it still. Best of luck with your creative endeavors!
